We're back in the beautiful Berkshires to promote my book, Death at Wildbough, and see the Steve Miller Band! We arrived on Thursday 06.22.23 (the day after my birthday) and the weather was warm, sunny and gorgeous. After having a delicious lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Xicohtencatl, we stopped at The Bookloft. They have generously agreed to carry my book! It's a well-stocked local book shop with a great selection of new releases and classics. Say hello to Max for me!
We spent an hour shopping in Great Barrington and visited my favorite store, T P Saddleblanket & Trading. If you've ever wanted to tap your inner cowgirl and wear large turquoise jewelry layered over a western shirt, fringed vest and a skirt with cowboy boots, this store is for you.
Our next stop was the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge to visit the Shop Around the Corner. It's a tasteful gift shop and the owner agreed to stock my book! The items sold are exquisite - jewelry, scarves, handbags, candles, souvenirs, and more. An absolute must visit before you enjoy a cocktail on the inn's long, cool porch watching the crowd in your wicker rocking chair.
We had dinner at the Old Inn on the Green in New Marlborough - a food lover's paradise! The large inn is comprised of small, quaint candle-lit dining rooms and dinner was delicious. More to come!
